Bundle up and join the St. Louis River Alliance on Sunday, February 1st from 4:00-5:30pm for a guided Winter Walk along the St. Louis River Estuary National Water Trail. We will meet at the Morgan Park Community Center parking lot (1242 88th Ave W, Duluth, MN 55808) at 4:00pm before we head out as a group at 4:15pm to explore the quiet beauty of the estuary, under the rising full moon. The pace will be relaxed, with time to take in the scenery, wildlife, and the sounds of winter. We will be back in the parking lot as a group before the sun has completely set, so headlamps are optional.
This event is free, and open to the public. Registration is not necessary, but encouraged.
Please use the restroom before arriving, dress in layers, and wear shoes with good traction as we will be walking down Falcon St to walk along the National Water Trail. This event is in partnership with Health Equity Northland’s yearly community event, Winter Out West.
Be sure to check out their schedule for the entire weekend below!
