2026 Twin Ports Paddling Film Festival

Thank you to everyone who joined the 2026 Twin Ports Paddling Film Festival on Thursday May 14th at Zeitgeist Theatre. This was in collaboration with our friends at North Shore SUP & Paddle it Forward, and would not have been possible without their dedication, hard work, and dream to bring this Film Fest back to the Twin Ports. These films were specifically chosen and customized with the community in mind, with a wide variety of paddling experiences to inspire us all.

We welcomed guests into the event, and notified everyone that they have a free door prize entry with every ticket purchase. We then introduced our gracious guest paddling legends who were there to chat and inspire folks until films began to start: Sam Armacost of BIPOC Outdoors, and Greg Petry of Superior Dream. We also had an amazing display of raffle items on the back wall from local sponsors before walking into the theatres, where guests could browse the items, buy 5 tickets for $20, and use the tickets to win specific raffle prizes at the end of the night.

Raffle items included a stand-up paddleboard donated from North Shore SUP, Bending Branches canoe paddle, 90 liter dry bag & Northwest Outlet gift card, e-Bike Duluth package, Adam Swanson custom painting, guided excursion with Daytripper, Epicurian package, Duluth Pottery, Duluth Gear Exchange package, Lake Superior Glass package, Great Lakes Aquarium tickets, and a Lincoln Park package. We gave away over 45 FREE door prizes counting both theatres as well, how cool is that?
