Riverfront Memories: Photos & Storytelling

  • Chambers Grove Park 13404 MN-23 Duluth, MN 55808 USA (map)

Join the St. Louis River Alliance for Riverfront Memories, a free community event on Wednesday, September 24 from 3 to 8 p.m. at Chambers Grove Park (13404 MN-23, Duluth). This special gathering invites you to connect to the St. Louis River through shared stories and photography.

SLRA will provide families, individuals, and community groups a complimentary professional portrait session with the river as the backdrop. Photo sessions are only available between 3-6 p.m. and a free digital download will be available post-event. *In order to accommodate as many families as possible, we will be operating on a first come, first serve basis. No registration necessary.

Throughout the event you’ll have many opportunities to share personal reflections about the St. Louis River and what it means to you, while creating new memories along the water. Enjoy light refreshments and beautiful views while we celebrate the river that brings us together. Feel free to bring your own snacks, lawn chairs, water bottles, etc.

Mark your calendars for free family-friendly activities, games, crafts, reflective prompts, Ojibwe stories, tea, a fire, and so much more! There will be a River Reflections writing station, collaborative river mural, river walks, interactive river map, and sensory connection station.
