River Revival: Restoration Celebration on Wisconsin Point

  • Wisconsin Point Superior, WI (map)

Join us for an evening on the beach celebrating one of the most special places in the world and the people and partnerships working to protect and preserve it.

For years, Wisconsin Point has been the focus of dedicated restoration efforts to support the people, plants, and animals that rely on this land and water. This gathering is your chance to meet the folks behind that work and connect with others who care. Wander between tables, chat with restoration partners, ask questions, explore how to get involved, and learn more about the land, water, and wildlife that make this place so unique.

Stop by the Good Puppet Bad Puppet booth for a fun, hands-on show featuring puppets, stories, and plenty to discover about the St. Louis River Estuary. Perfect for kids—and curious adults, too.

This free, drop-in community celebration is open to all. Expect light snacks, a beach fire, family-friendly activities, and a beautiful evening in community with others who care about the lake and river on the Point.

Participating organizations will be announced soon, stay tuned!

This event is part of our River Revival Series

What’s happening on the St. Louis River right now? Join us for our new River Revival event series, a monthly gathering to learn about the river, ongoing restoration at Wisconsin Point and Allouez Bay, and ways to connect with this special place.

Hosted the third Thursday of the month April-September, each event features engaging presentations from local partners and knowledge holders, along with hands-on creative activities, informal conversation, and opportunities to share your questions and perspectives.

Come learn, connect, and be part of the ongoing story of the St. Louis River. Free, all ages are welcome.

These events are in partnership with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and Lake Superior Headwaters Sustainability Partnership, with generous funding provided by the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative.
