The St. Louis River Estuary (SLRE) National Water Trail is the newest MN addition to the federal water trail system. With 11 routes for various skill levels and experiences, there is something for everyone! 

Join the St. Louis River Alliance, proud managers of the SLRE National Water Trail, to discover wild places in an urban area. During this FREE virtual event, the Alliance will introduce you to the St. Louis River Estuary National Water Trail by sharing suggested routes, landings and how to access the river. Resources will be provided on where to find gear, obtain your own map and proper safety for paddling a major shipping port. 

This is your opportunity to immerse yourself in one of the largest freshwater estuaries; discover a migratory paradise and escape into the quiet calm of a diverse ecosystem.
