ATTENTION PADDLERS: 2023 Area of Concern Construction Work

What Area of Concern work might you encounter in MN or WI while you are out on the estuary this year?  A lot of field work is planned for the St. Louis River Area of Concern (SLRAOC) project sites and is explained on the attached 2023 Field Work.  If you have questions about any of the projects, look for the contact information provided on each page.

For you paddlers that plan to explore any of the St. Louis River Estuary National Water Trail this year, we have also updated the attached Paddlers Awareness handout to show where current project efforts could impede your paddling plans. Be sure to reference it before you launch so you can be sure to avoid active construction sites.

Due to the Munger Landing remediation project, the Clyde Avenue boat launch will be closed for the 2023 paddle season.

Please feel free to share these handouts electronically or as hard copies with other people in your organizations or any other interested parties. Click the following images to find a downloadable PDF version.

MUNGER LANDING IS CLOSED FOR THE 2023 PADDLE SEASON.
