The 2004 River Cleanup took place on Saturday, May 8 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Wisconsin Point. Volunteers hauled out over 100 bags of garbage as well as many tires. Everyone enjoyed refreshments before heading home.

This event was organized by the CAC Environmental Stewardship Committee with logistical support provided by the Western Lake Superior Sanitary District and the City of Superior.
