The 2003 River Cleanup took place on Saturday, May 10, 2003 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Grassy Point. Volunteers removed a full dumpster of garbage and whole truckload of old tires. Everyone enjoyed rolls, cookies, and drinks before heading home.

This event was organized by the CAC Environmental Stewardship Committee with logistical support provided by the Western Lake Superior Sanitary District and Howard Waste.
