The 2002 River Cleanup took place on Saturday, April 27, 2002 at 9:00 AM. About 40 volunteers met at Wisconsin Point. The volunteers enjoyed rolls, cookies, and drinks before heading home.

This event was organized by the CAC Environmental Stewardship Committee with logistical support provided by the Western Lake Superior Sanitary District and the City of Superior.
