St. Louis River Canoe Tour & Picnic

The 2004 Canoe Tour & Picnic took place on Saturday, August 14, 2004 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on the St. Louis River. About 50 people put in canoes and kayaks at Chambers Grove Park in Fond du Lac, MN and took out at the public boat launch in Oliver, WI. The SLRCAC provided a picnic of sandwiches, veggies, chips, cookies, juice, and other snacks at North Bay. Jerome Blazevic and Frank Koshere spoke along way about the history of the area and the plants and animals that inhabit the river.
