2002 Environmental Stewardship Awards


2002 Awards (presented January 2003)

The Sally Gibson Award (Individual): Bill Majewski. In appreciation of your tireless commitment to the St. Louis River!

The Milton E. Pelletier Award (Club/Organization): Shari McCorison. In appreciation of your efforts to engage youth in envrionmental responsibility for our watershed!

The Randy Marshall Award (Business/Industry): Georgia-Pacific Corporation. Thank you for reducing toxic waste releases to the St. Louis River watershed!

The Willard Munger, Sr. Award (Government/Agency): Pat Collins, Eric Epstein, John Lindgren, Dennis Pratt, and Carol Reschke. Thank you for working above and beyond for the habitat of the St. Louis River!

School/Institution: David Blinn, Wrenshall High School. Thank you for promoting environmental responsibility amoung young citizens in our watershed!

Media: Mike Furtman. Thank you for helping to protect the habitat of the St. Louis River watershed!
